Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

Although it uploads my images, it shortens them also. Could you please make a bigger limit to the images size? I can't get anything done when my images get small.

Before ugrading, my free account was so reliable, with a near non-existant downtime, fast hosting, and most important: the ease of use was unlike others. The image remains, and isn't automaticaly taken offline after a specified amount of time. Never have I experienced a bit of trouble with Photobucket, and all images on my websites load very well.. the reason I upgraded. The few times the site was down, meaning not accessable to upload photos, the servers still kept the images up and running. Having used Photobucket for over a year now, I can say its the best free server out there. I have recommended this host to others, and will continue to do so.

Photobucket, you're pure awesome. Always fast service, sure, once there was a downtime. But that's expected on ALL servers! Of course, being Photobucket, you got it back up right away!

I must say this is one of the BEST photo hosting server I'd ever come across. And to me, it's really affordable and after signing up to Prenium, I found the ability to publish pictures directly from Window XP Folder makes my life much much easier. Instead of cropping each picture individually, I can now do batch processing! Great!
But I would find it to be better if there are templates allowing us to make our album more colourful and striking. On top of that, it would be excellent if visitors can add their own comments to our pictures for us to approve. That would save me lotsa time trying to explain the pictures.
All in all, I would say that I would post more pictures in here to share with my family and friends and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Photobucket.com!

I've used this service for about a year and they have been very reliable except for a few hours when the server was down for maintenance. I find them very easy to use, maybe a bit basic. They don't have a thumbnail generator. Please note: You have to log into your account at least every 90 days or it will be removed. I didn't realize this at first.

I love PhotoBucket. I get to the site quickly, can figure out how to upload photos and now can send them to my blog or live journal automatically. The host has never been down when I have logged on. I think for me, since I do not have a lot of computer knowledge, this is the easiest site to use. I do wish I could find a help section though. I have an animated Icon and cannot figure out how to put it on my live journal as animated.
