Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

can't you ensure that download time for 19 images doesn't take two weeks and then crashes. what's the point of using your hosting facility? all very slow and cumbersome. why can't you click and drag jpegs across rather than selecting files one by one? not very impressive.

every time me and all my friends use this its important to us and every time it messes up, my pictures disapear. i am not over my limits and i even deleted some uploaded photos. what is the deal?

Areally good site for uploading pictures and icons. The only thing that would make it much better would be if when you saved pictures after you uploaded them that they would become .JPEG images and wuold not stay bitmap images. Also a very reliable site and very quick connection on their dedicated servers web hosting.

Great hosting site! Since pics take up lots of storage space, I had to upgrade for more web space and added monthly bandwidth use. Some lower quality pics are a little distorted when uploaded and reduced. Used this site for only about 2 months. Very reliable - no downtime so far. Two thumbs up!

good host, reliable. Been using it for about a year. My only complaint is that the limit is 250kb, it would be nice to have 500kb or a meg. They host swf files, which is really good by the way.

This site is great for hosting pics. However they have the worst customer service that I've encountered with any company. I was charged twice when upgrading my account. I emailed the company four times and have never received a follow-up email, and they've conveniently removed any phone number or address from their website. So, good site for free hosting, but DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR ACCOUNT, unless its worth $50 to you.
