"My File Hut" is a free file web hosting site on 3 dedicated linux servers. With the free file hosting account you get 250 megabytes of storage and 10 GB/month limit on bandwidth. Hotlinking or direct linking is allowed for auctions, forum posting, and other websites (free MP3 streaming enabled). There is a 50mb file size limit. Upload all your images, documents, music, video, audio, zip, rar, flash files, and more. All file types are accepted. Registration (free) is required, and there is a 30-day inactivity limit. The free file webhosting is powered by a custom version of the Uploader Celeron Dude script (has several unique mods). "MyFileHut tries to maintain a 99% server uptime, but makes no claims of reliability in serving or web hosting."

don't get me wrong; I love myfilehut.com. without them I'd be lost, but lately they've been having a LOT of problems. They have been down so many times in the past week I can't count. I use them to host stuff for my myspace, but they have been down, and now my myspace stinks. if you don't believe me, try going to www.myfilehut.com -- nothing happens. sometimes they are up and I can get there, but lately they've really been lacking.

Wow, I have been looking for quite some time for a good host, and this is the best one I've ever seen! Really if you are looking for a free host that allows you to upload music, movies, and many more files,then this is what you have been looking for! I also like it very much because it allows hotlinking from your own website. Good service! Thanks!

Seemed to go well, disappointing downtime for most of the time, very irregular on and offs making it too unreliable to use. I hope things change for the better for them because they were the best and easiest to set up by far, and have all the features i was looking for. Maybe they became too popular?

I have been using my file hut for a while now and was more than happy with the site until they as others have said that they have taken to advertising on where I put my music. It seems fair they want to promote their site but did they really have to do it this way? Would a small linked banner or something similar have been a better idea? Also one of the main problems I have is this, that they do not say on their site that you have to have this advertising if you want to use their site! It was suggested to me by My file hut that I read TOS. well I would if they were displayed on their site!

Awesome host. I have not had any problems with myfilehut.com, they always seem to be up.
They have fast upload/download speeds (at least I think so). I have been using them for months, and I HIGHLY recommend them for file hosting.
