even though the site currently has a few small problems, those bugs are fixed rapidly. this free file host provides great filehosting for files under 20 mb, since it supports direck linking and 10bg bandwith for 250mb of online storage space is really great.

Initially, everything seemed great, but the site kept having problems! Just like a few other reviewers, I can't access my account now because it says username does not exist. Yet when I access the link of an image i uploaded long time ago, it is still showing up. Sometimes when I try to open a new folder or upload new files, it refuses to let me. It seems to have a few other mirror sites which are just as bad! Avoid this unstable host!

Initially I was very satisfied with MyFileHut.com, however, they suddenly changed the address of my account which caused my website to basically stop working. Then I had to modify the xml document that I had uploaded 2 days before so I removed the old one and tried to upload the new one with the correct urls pointing to my files. Lo and Behold, xml files are no longer allowed! I went to the FAQ section and it simply said "under construction". I understand that xml documents can mean big bandwidth, but come on! I have a 10GB limit and I had barely even touched it!

I really don't know how good it is until I get my account activated. But for some reason no matter how many times I ask for it to be sent, it never gets sent. I even checked my spam folders and it wasn't there.

Works great when it's there, and when my accounts aren't lost. First, they had disappeared for weeks, then came back and I thought everything was OK. Then my account and files disappeared. I set up a new account. I only had one file stored, but suddenly there were other files in my account that I had not put there. I changed my password, it worked fine for a week, then disappeared again. Password retrieval says my account does not exist. Yet if I try to re-register, it says my account already exists. All emails to their website are returned "undeliverable".

I thought that this was a cool file host, but the closer I looked, the scarier this site became. First, the Term of Condition (TOS) was extremely short with grammar errors. It did not have enough information to convince me. Second, this site logged me in under random usernames! I had no idea what happened, but on an interval of 1 minute, I (unregistered) was logged in automatically to some random accounts that had not been activated yet! This seemed very dangerous because maybe anyone could log into my account by accident! Third, there was no Support section. The Forum was blank. FAQs were "UNDER CONSTRUCTION". I lost confidence in this "candidate for file hosting".

I created an account 4 days ago, transferred all my pics, adjusted my ENTIRE blog to the new host and guess what...the next day the site was down. The day after that all my pics where replaced by filehut, the pics said "hotlinking is allowed if linked properly." what!? I have linked it properly, else I wouldnt see them [did you modify the code they provided?]. When the site was up again I tried to login but it said "userID is unknown in database". So I figured Id check out forums, faqs and examine the TOS again...forums are blank, faqs is under construction and the TOS says nothing about a special form of linking you have to use. Email? just returned to me as undeliverable. I could create another account and assume it was all a mistake, but I really dont want to be going to readjusting my blogpics again and again and again...one good thing about filehut? upload is very fast...but thats about it.

Even though uploading is fast-and theres alot of types you can upload. The bad side of it is that while I'm uploading random people come on my account and delete stuff, and sometimes when I go and look at my files, I'm on another account, and lately I've had to make new accounts because my others have been deleted. I would not recoment this site. It confuses people.

Looks great, but not working! when I try to upload it says, "could open./user/username/upload" or something like that!

I lost my account and over 200 pics. I opened a new account and I get a message that the userfiles/id can't be opened.
