"My File Hut" is a free file web hosting site on 3 dedicated linux servers. With the free file hosting account you get 250 megabytes of storage and 10 GB/month limit on bandwidth. Hotlinking or direct linking is allowed for auctions, forum posting, and other websites (free MP3 streaming enabled). There is a 50mb file size limit. Upload all your images, documents, music, video, audio, zip, rar, flash files, and more. All file types are accepted. Registration (free) is required, and there is a 30-day inactivity limit. The free file webhosting is powered by a custom version of the Uploader Celeron Dude script (has several unique mods). "MyFileHut tries to maintain a 99% server uptime, but makes no claims of reliability in serving or web hosting."

I am a member of this site over six months. After some upgradations and stoping the mirror sites has improved the website a lot. Presently the best I have seen. Its fast. Bandwidth is good. Downtime has gone down to minimum.

very good, lets you stream and hotlink + no file type restrictions. max file size = 20mb. 250mb web space. for some reason when i upload it cuts of the end of the file (not sure if this would be the same with other people so i still recomend).

Brilliant, fast downloads and great bandwidth speeds on streaming (hotlinked files). They are ironing out some issues at the moment which means downtime for the site here and there. files have never stopped being available thus far. Free, Reliable, Fast. Best i've found.

Server was down.
[Note on their site says, "We are currently upgrading the server at myFileHut.com, throughout the day of Dec 12th 2005. There was a Hard Drive Failure on one of the new Hard drives. we expect the supplier to have it fixed tommrow. sorry for the delay. you may experience downtime with myfilehut.com. we dont expect the downtime to be anymore than 30-40 minutes of length. This upgrade is to improve your experience here at myFileHut.com. we are going to be installing 3.2TB worth of HDD space. Along with that we have upgraded to Dual Opteron processors which will increase Upload/Download, and page view speed."]

it would be nice if there was a better uptime, but great service. hotlinkings are allowed, and you can host a website because of the dedicated link system.

The pros:
I've been streaming my mp3 files off of this with no problems.
250 megs is great for the download speed. it offers
Direct-hotlinking.
The cons:
-Bandwidth restriction.
-Bandwidth doesn't reset LIKE it says it does...sometimes it just goes up and up. I've had to ask to have it reset.
