X10 is the BEST hosting service I have seen in a LONG time!  I really like its cPanel interface, as I am VERY tired of the hundreds of other free hosting services having the EXACT same interface, forms, TOS, etc. It gets rated 10 by me. Keep it up, X10!

It is with no doubt the best free hosting service I have ever seen! The staff are very serious about keeping their customers satisfied and doing their best to make the server faster! Although sometimes waiting times for things such as registration are quite long, it is well worth it once you get your account. They are currently upgrading their servers to make stuff faster! This free web space hosting site is the best! I have had it for over 1/2 a year and the web server has only crashed once. They have the best forums where you can get all of your questions answered within an hour. I currently pay absolutely nothing and have a great site hosted by them. I may eventually pay a bit for PHP and SQL support, but I am okay with what I have for now. They have very fast servers. Anyone who has moderate (meaning almost none) knowledge of HTML can create a great website here. They provide a bunch of webspace, so much that I have only used up about 1% of it! Again, the forums provide answers to most questions within an hour. They have never had any problems except this one time. They constantly get new features. Visit their homepage for more info. There is no better host (free or paid) better than 110mb.

I have not used this host very long, but it looks very promising. It looks like they use PHP 4 though, and I highly recommended that they upgrade to PHP 5, and let's see what they say. They offer extremely good specs for a free host, and 30 posts per month is pretty easy to do, and you can actually learn stuff from their forums.

Before I found this hosting service, I was with a hosting service that forced ads on my site. This of course messed up my web site layout, forcing me to do a complete restructuring of my website. It was not long until I left that host and looked for another one. Awardspace saved me and offered much more than I even expected from a free website hosting provider, and I have been with them for at least 3 years.

The best webhost that I have come across so for is hands-down byethost! The features are the best that you can probably get from any host, free or paid. The server speed is lighting fast. The registration process is simple and very quick. The webhosting uptime is unbelievably even better than many paid hosts. The cherry on the dessert called byethost is their customer relations management. These people are just wonderful. I was installing Drupal, but due to some error I could not. I just opened a new support ticket and asked them to fix the problem, and viola, in just half an hour I get an email that the problem has been fixed. I have even used paid hosts before, and Byethost response time was even better than many of them! In short I have used and juggled many hosts, both free and paid, and I can say that they definitely are the very best in the entire webhosting industry. In case you are looking for a web host, your search has ended because you have found the best, aka byethost.

T35 is good in the sense of a lot of web storage space for a free site, however the "pop-up" ad mentioned is now an add that is created using a script and therefore standard pop-up blockers cannot hide it. I found my website's visitors getting very frustrated with the pop-up, as they had to hunt around for the little X to close the thing so they could see the website hiding behind it. It also takes ages (if they bother at all) for them to email you verification.

There are ads forced onto my web site now, and the ad is covering my website logo. A simple banner would be much better.

This is a very fast hosting server, without adds or popups in the free plan! FTP access for all accounts make publishing really easy. Very good!

On the positive, they have a plethora of tools and services available, and their customer service is the best I have seen. I received a response to my email in an hour or two from an actual person, and they got the problem solved that day. The only thing I do not like is the maximum upload file size limit, which is 500 KB, I believe, and there is no smtp, which they do not provide for free web hosting accounts because of spam concerns, which is understandable. But it costs nothing, so you can not be too picky. Other than that, I am very happy with them.

I was checking my free web site today, and it is full of garbage... they put obtrusive adverts without notification. They should have informed me in my email, especially since they claimed it was a bannerless free hosting service. Their homepage says they offer free hosting with no banners, but right now that is not the case anymore.
